Payment Options / Terms of Sale

CAPITOL SUPPLY & SERVICE offers several payment options:

  • Major credit card
    Accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express
  • Check (personal, company, certified or money order)
  • Open Account with terms and/or C.O.D.
    Both require a credit application be completed to verify business owner, address, bank relationship and trade references. Certain credit limits may require additional information such as a personal guarantee or company financials.

Sales Tax

An executed sales tax exemption certificate must be on file in order to avoid sales tax being charged to any order. Sales tax will be automatically added to an order without a valid sales tax exemptioncertificate on file.

Damaged Items / Shortages

All items are carefully packed before shipment. If merchandise is damaged by the carrier, you must make note of it on the delivery receipt. In all cases, count the number of cartons received compared to the delivery receipt and sign accordingly. YOU must initiate damage claims within 48 hours of delivery.

Returns

Unless shipped in error, Capitol Supply & Service will not accept any merchandise for return without prior written authorization from Customer Service. Only products in our current offering, in good resalable condition will be considered. All returns, (except when a direct result of a Capitol Supply & Service error) must be returned freight paid and will be charged a 15% restocking charge. Return requests beyond 30 days after invoice will not be considered.

Please have part numbers and quantities ready for our Customer Service Agents.

For first time purchasers, please have a copy of your Sales Tax Exemption Certificate available for fax transfer to our Accounting Department.

Pick-Up Orders

Our hours of operation are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.  Please phone order 2 hours in advance of pick-up.

Warranties

Capitol Supply & Service agrees to provide warranty information upon request and comply with product warranties. Delivery charges are not reimbursed under any warranty policy.
